TSS Artists Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the TSS Artists mobile app, also listed on Google Play as TSS, and the TGSarathi website. The Android package name is com.tgsarathi.employee.

TSS Artists is an attendance and program management app for authorised Telangana Samskruthika Sarathi artists, staff, administrators, and operational users. The related website is https://tgsarathi.com.

Information We Collect

• Account details such as name, user ID, phone number, email, designation, district, and mandal.
• Attendance details such as program assignment, check-in/check-out status, date, time, and review status.
• Precise location proof such as GPS latitude, longitude, accuracy, map link, and location permission status.
• Photo proof captured by the user for attendance, including event photos and selfie photos.
• Device or technical identifiers needed for login security, offline sync, troubleshooting, and fraud prevention.

How We Use Information

• To verify attendance and program participation.
• To support offline attendance capture and sync when internet connectivity returns.
• To help administrators review attendance, proof photos, location accuracy, and audit history.
• To secure the service, prevent misuse, resolve support requests, and maintain reliable operations.

Storage and Service Providers

Attendance records are stored in the application database. Proof photos are stored using AWS S3, with Cloudinary retained as a backup/testing storage provider during rollout. The backend is hosted on AWS EC2 and uses MongoDB for application records.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information and we do not use attendance data for advertising. Information is available only to authorised administrators, operational staff, service providers who help run the app, or authorities when required by law or official process.

Security

The service uses HTTPS for network communication and access controls for administrators and employees. Users should keep their login credentials private and report suspected misuse immediately.

Retention

Attendance records and proof photos are retained for administrative, audit, reporting, and compliance needs. Data may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to official retention requirements.

Your Choices and Data Requests

Authorised users can request correction, access, or deletion of account-related data by contacting support. Some attendance records may need to be retained for audit or legal reasons. Account and data deletion requests can be made at https://tgsarathi.com/account-deletion.

Children

TSS Artists is intended for authorised employees and operational users. It is not directed to children.
